What decision are you making?

How We Verify

Verification method

The decision comes first. A booking link has to earn its place.

JapanTripKit checks traveler fit, official rules, booking conditions, the exact destination, and commercial clarity. If a handoff is stale or unclear, we remove it rather than fill the page with a weaker option.

What we check

Five gates before a recommendation

Passing one gate is not enough. A working link can still be the wrong product, and an official rule can still require a separate live inventory check.

01 · Traveler fit

Who should choose it?

We identify who an option suits, who should skip it, and which trip details can change the answer.

02 · Official rule

What controls the decision?

Governments, airports, transport operators, venues, and service providers are the first source for rules and restrictions.

03 · Booking condition

What could invalidate it?

We check dated entry, eligibility, exclusions, delivery, cancellation, and change conditions that matter before payment.

04 · Exact destination

Where does the link land?

The booking destination must open the intended current product or relevant partner page, not a generic or broken handoff.

05 · Commercial clarity

Why is it shown?

Affiliate relationships are disclosed clearly and do not replace the evidence or decide the recommendation.

Source hierarchy

Primary first

Partner pages can confirm live inventory, price, or checkout terms. They do not replace an official source for operating rules.

Visible labels

What each verification label actually means

A label describes the latest completed check. It is not a guarantee of future inventory, price, eligibility, or refund terms.

Partner supplied

Source provided

The merchant supplied the offer or terms. JapanTripKit has not tested the checkout.

Link checked

Destination opened

The exact booking destination opened during the latest recorded check.

Code tested

Checkout condition tested

The stated coupon was tested against its conditions during checkout.

Withheld

No safe handoff

No booking link is shown when freshness, availability, terms, eligibility, or destination quality is insufficient.

Corrections and independence

Changeable claims should show a review date or supporting source. Material errors are corrected promptly, and readers can report an issue through the contact page. Commission does not determine whether an option is recommended. Method reviewed August 27, 2026.
