What we measure

JapanTripKit offers optional session analytics. If you choose Allow session analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics records privacy-first page counts, referral sources, approximate country, device type, and performance signals. We also load the independent Japan Trip Kit Google Analytics property to measure useful journeys and Microsoft Clarity to understand anonymous page interactions such as navigation and layout friction.

Cloudflare Web Analytics, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity do not load when you choose Essential only. You can change this choice at any time with the Privacy choices button in the footer.

JapanTripKit keeps advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization disabled in Google consent settings. We do not use advertising cookies. We do not send names, email addresses, form messages, IP addresses, user-agent strings, referrers, or raw partner destination URLs to our first-party affiliate click ledger.

Affiliate and booking links

When you follow a labeled affiliate or booking link, JapanTripKit records a limited, anonymous handoff count so we can verify whether a recommendation is useful. The destination provider applies its own privacy policy and may use its own cookies or account data.

Information you submit

If you contact us or report a problem with an offer, we process the information you submit only to respond, investigate, prevent abuse, and maintain the service.
