teamLab Planets is a timed-entry museum in Toyosu where visitors move barefoot through water and large immersive spaces. Tickets are not sold on-site, so choose a realistic entry slot before you travel there.

Which ticket should you choose?

For most visitors the official store is the safer default, because its web tickets can be moved to another date or time; use KKday when its slot or package suits you better.

Best default: use the official store when schedule flexibility matters. Check KKday when its available time, payment flow, or package is a better fit. Never assume one seller’s change or refund policy applies to another seller.

What to know before buying

Treat ¥3,600 as the floor, not the price: prices move by date and time, so check the exact slot you want before deciding.

Official store or KKday?

Whichever you choose, the terms of the seller you actually pay are the ones that apply, so read them before checkout.

What if you are late?

The official help page says you can still ask to enter later on the same day during opening hours. Last admission is one hour before closing. This is useful protection against a train delay, but it is not a reason to build a tight itinerary: arrive for the time you booked and allow extra travel time.

A delayed train will not cost you the visit, but a missed day will: same-day late entry is allowed, a different day is not.

How to choose a time slot

Early slots are usually the calmest; avoid booking a slot on the day you land or check out of a hotel.

  1. Confirm the venue. This guide is for teamLab Planets in Toyosu, not teamLab Borderless in Azabudai Hills.
  2. Plan the route first. The venue is one minute from Shin-Toyosu Station on the Yurikamome Line and about five minutes from Shijoumae Station and Toyosu Market.
  3. Add a buffer. Do not place the slot immediately after airport arrival, a hotel change, or another fixed reservation.
  4. Check everyone’s experience fit. Expect to remove shoes and socks and walk through water. Review the current official visitor guide for mobility, clothing, and child-specific needs.
  5. Read the final terms. Confirm the date, time, number of tickets, QR delivery, cancellation conditions, and total before paying.

Clothing, lockers and children

Wear shorts or trousers that roll up above the knee, and leave large bags at your hotel: the lockers are small.

Accessibility and group tickets

If anyone in your group uses a wheelchair or needs help with water areas, read the official guidance before you buy, not at the gate.
